What shore excursions are available and how do I book them?

You can check out the amazing shore excursion opportunities on NCL’s website.

You cannot book shore excursions with NCL until you are issued a booking number, which will happen about 4-6 weeks before the cruise sets sail. Once you have been issued the booking number, you can book excursions online at NCL’s website.

What is the dress code onboard?

The dress code for The KISS Kruise II is much more relaxed than a normal cruise. We want you to be comfortable! The only thing we ask is that you don't wear bathing suits or ripped clothing in the dining room. There is usually one "formal night” though, and you’re welcome to get a little more dressed up for that – but keep in mind it’s more casual than black tie. As we get closer to cruise time, we’ll be announcing several "theme nights" – so be prepared to get creative and join in on the fun!

What dining options are available on board?

There is no shortage of food onboard; enjoy a quick snack out by the pool, hit the buffet or enjoy 24 hour room service all included in your cabin price! Certain specialty restaurants are available with either nominal cover charges or fixed price menus and à la carte pricing in addition to the standard dining program.

Additionally, the formal dining rooms offer a nicer, sit-down meal for the times you’re more interested in being waited on. These meals are also included in your cabin price.

What is the Smoking Policy Onboard?

From the Norwegian Lines Website

We want you to be comfortable on board, so public areas throughout all our ships are smoke-free. If you smoke cigarettes, you can do so on your balcony, in the casino or in the Cigar Bar (where available). If you prefer pipes or cigars, you can smoke in the Cigar Bar or designated smoking lounge. Also, you can smoke cigarettes, pipes and cigars outside on open decks (just not around food venues, sports decks, kids’ pool areas and other designated nonsmoking areas). Smoking inside your stateroom will result in a $250 cleaning charge added to your onboard account.

If you’re 18 through 20 years of age and you have the written consent of your parents or guardian (parent or guardian must be on board), you can purchase beer or wine for yourself only when the ship is sailing in international waters (except on Alaska and Hawai‘i cruises where you must be 21 years of age to consume or purchase alcohol of any kind).* If you want to gamble in our casinos, you must have a valid ID showing you are 18 years or older. If a Guest under the age of 18 wins in the casino and cannot provide proof of age, he or she will not be paid the winnings. There is no casino on Pride of America.
